Did-I-really-just-call-my-teacher-Mom

With blessings and debit cards we have been saying goodbye to our college bound parishioners.

For those of us left behind, I offer some continuing ed credits for our journey to heaven:

St. Maximilian Kolbe in Marmora will be presenting “The Bible and the Sacraments.” This 6 week series,         developed by Dr. Scott Hahn, invites us to consider “the masterworks of God”. The series presenter will be Joe Sosnowsky. Join us Thursday mornings 9:00am to 10:30am starting September 25th. For more information or to register call Joe at 856-371-2008 (or email jsosnow@comcast.net.)

RCIA

Beginning Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 7:00PM in classroom 2 at Resurrection Church we will offer a topic and presenter who will guide us on a prayerful and informative journey on the nature of our Faith that will culminate next Easter.

To remind you, RCIAstands for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. It is the Catholic Church’s way of      initiating new members into the faith and strengthening the faith of those who seek to grow in their relationship with God. RCIA is much more than a program. It is a learning and loving process in which conversion of the heart brings one to Jesus.

RCIA is an opportunity:

For those who have not been baptized.

For those who have been baptized Catholic or in another faith, but have little affiliation with, and/or training in the Catholic religion.

For those who want to learn and ask questions about the Catholic faith.

For those who are searching.

Through weekly gatherings, those attending gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Catholic faith, tradition, rituals, and prayer life. All are welcome, and there is no obligation to make any commitment to become Catholic. I ask you to consider joining us this year and to consider inviting others.
