Eucharistic Ministers \ Lectors

We thank you for prayerfully considering our Lord’s call to serve in His Name
Eucharistic Ministers are trained lay ministers with a deep understanding of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine. Eucharistic Ministers share the Body and Blood of Christ with the community of parishioners united by a common faith. They assist the priest in distributing the body and Blood of Christ during Mass and by taking the body and blood into the community to those not able to be in church. Through their service, members strive to fulfill the Lord’s command to Peter, “Feed my sheep.” John 21:17

“Go out to all the world and proclaim the Good News.” Mark 16:15
The Lector/Reader is responsible for reading aloud excerpts of the scripture during the liturgy. From the very beginning, Christians have gathered together to hear the word of God, and, from the very beginning, there have been individuals entrusted with the task of reading the word.

Please contact Cathy at the office for more information (609) 390-0664.

Saint Vincent de Paul Society

Charity is the cement which binds Communities to God and persons to one another… Saint Vincent

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is an international lay Catholic charitable organization present in 142 countries of the world. Internationally, there are more than 700,000 members. The basic unit of the Society is the “Conference”. Most Conferences are parish based. Thus, we are The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Conference of Saint Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Volunteer Members call themselves “Vincentians” after the recognized Patron of Charity, Saint Vincent de Paul. Membership in our parish Conference is open to all parish members wishing to help their “neighbor-in-need” for the love of God and always with dignity and confidentiality. There are three types of membership offered to our parishioners: Active, Associate and Contributing. One may participate through prayer and purse, or join as an Associate or Active member. The work of our Conference is supported financially by donations, including a weekend collection in every month with a “5th” Sunday and through proceeds from the Poor Boxes located in the front gathering area and side lobby of Resurrection Church.

Youth Group Ministry

“Men and women seek God. Young people realize in the depths of their being that this quest is the inner law of their lives.” World Youth Day, Paris, 1997.

Our High School Youth Group students meet every Sunday in Resurrection Church Extension from 6 to 8:30pm. Our 7th and 8th grade student members join us Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30pm. This ministry seeks to help our youth share their gifts, grow in life skills, cultivate a positive self-image, respect differences, serve those in need, and foster social change while integrating Catholic values and developing a personal and spiritual relationship with Jesus.

Please contact the Religious Education Office at (609) 390-2203.
