Mission Vision Sundays

On September 29 following the 5:30pm Mass and on September 30 following the 8:30am Mass,

I ask that the parishioners who attend either of these Masses to visit the lower level of Saint Casimir Church to assist me in prioritizing the direction of parochial life for the years ahead.

On the weekend of October 6/7, we will do the same thing following all the Masses at the Church of the Resurrection. This initiative is in continuance of the efforts set forth by our fellow parishioners who participated in the Parish Mission leading up to this past summer’s Feast Day Celebrations.

As you may recall, our Parish Mission sought to discern the prompting of the Holy Spirit for our parish family. So many wonderful ideas were brought forward. The hope is to draw from these many ideas, some key initiatives that may be introduced to our parish family.

Please take a few minutes following these Masses to hear from your fellow parishioners their vision for our Parish and to include your ‘voice’ and ‘vision’ to this effort to discern the Holy Spirit’s promptings in the life of our parish.

Volunteer Appreciation Sunday

The parish staff and I remain grateful for the privilege of serving with you our parish volunteers. I believe at times your good works and generosity may appear to go unnoticed because they are so humbly given. At the same time, your goodness is not unnoticed by me and the parish staff and we look forward to this opportunity to express our gratitude.

On Sunday afternoon, October 7 from 1-3pm I invite you and your spouse to an Open House at Sketties Restaurant in Marmora, for food, beverages and each other’s company.

I ask you to join with me and the staff so that we may thank you in person for all you do.

In order to give our host at Sketties an appropriate head count we ask that you sign up at the entrance to our churches by October 1 or call the rectory (609) 390-0664.
